Description

The Lazy Daisy apartments are located on the outskirts of St Helena Bay, high on top of Patrysberg ridge. These tranquil apartments are contemporary in rustic surroundings on a rural smallholding, offering a farm-stay feel with views over the village. There is a well-maintained gravel road for the last 1.8km, suitable for all cars.

Both units have a private deck with braai facilities offering vast views of the ocean and the mountains. The apartments are furnished with king-size beds. Auntie Daisy's spacious shower has both a rain shower and a wall-mounted shower and Lazy Daisy's wet room with a rain shower has an ocean view. Both kitchenettes are equipped with fridge-freezers, gas hobs, whistling kettles, and toasters. Auntie Daisy also has an air fryer. There is full Wi-Fi with a back-up UPS provided and a TV with Netflix and YouTube is available. Guests may use their own login details to access DStv. Small to medium size, well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement.

For larger groups, McArthur Park Boma offers a communal West Coast entertainment area with a larger braai area and a fire pit. There is also a mini-gym and an Art Gallery on site. Deer, tortoise, mongoose, hare, and porcupine live on the smallholding, so slow driving is requested. Quiet walks with panoramic views can be enjoyed, while bars and restaurants are close by in St Helena Bay, Paternoster, Langebaan, Port Owen, and Velddrif.
