Safe and clean but not friendly. The host was not very welcoming and could improve in making guests feel more at home. Given the price, basic amenities such as bottled water and coffee or tea facilities would have been appreciated. Although there was milk in the fridge, it had gone bad. Lovely, clean, rooms are warm and beautiful. It was very lovely to have stayed at The Lux - I would like to add that it would have been more comfortable to have had more items in the self-catering unit such as drinking glasses, cloths to dry the kitchenware and sponges to wash the dishes.
