Heeeerlik!! Ons het heerlik gebly! Die plek was mooi skoon en op 'n goeie plek geleë. Dit was rustig en veilig. Ek sal dit enige tyd weer aanbeveel.

Comfortable and convenient. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and the host was friendly and helpful. The cottage had a few issues, but these were quickly attended to.

Great potential, but seriously let down by poor upkeep and support. Unfortunately, our recent stay at this accommodation was disappointing due to several issues that affected our comfort and convenience. To start with, only one roll of toilet paper was provided for a three-night stay, which was clearly not enough. The bathroom light bulb was fused and not working throughout our stay. The fridge also did not work properly, even after adjusting the temperature settings, and the deep freezer was unusable due to the lack of an extension cord. The kitchen was under-equipped. There were no brooms or mops for cleaning, and the pots provided were too small. We also struggled with the Wi-Fi. The password given was incorrect, and it took four to five hours plus several WhatsApp messages and calls before we received the correct one. Communication with the host or management was very poor and frustrating. On top of that, the walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbours snoring at night, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The pillows were flat and worn out, and the bed lamps didn’t have plugs, making them unusable. Overall, this place has potential, but it needs better maintenance, clearer communication, and attention to basic amenities in order to offer a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Peaceful. It could have been better. The host showed a lack of customer service and very poor communication. Our calls and messages were often ignored and rarely attended to. WiFi connected but without internet, and no one bothered to assist or attend to that after multiple efforts of trying to reach out in that regard. Very disappointing, especially for a cozy place like that one.

Lekker verblyf in Hogsback. Netjies en skoon, goeie beddens en beddegoed. Die huis is mooi gemeubileer en het alles wat 'n mens sal nodig kry.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway. Our hosts were amazing. They made sure we were comfortable and gave us useful information about Hogsback. The cottage had everything we needed, which made for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Most enjoyable stay. Loved the decor, minimalist in that there was no clutter but roomy enough for the 3 of us under wet and cold conditions. Beds were super comfortable and indoor fireplace great for heating the apartment at night. Undercover braai area was a plus.
