The View Albert Falls overlooks Albert Falls Dam and the Karkloof Hills. The property offers three independent self-catering farm cottages for guests seeking a relaxed and convenient stay.

The Garden Cottage accommodates up to 7 guests with 3 double en-suite bedrooms, plus an extra bed in Room 3. The unit includes Wi-Fi, an indoor entertainment area with a full-size snooker table, DStv in the lounge and outdoors, and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, Nespresso and filter coffee machines, and a SodaStream. Outdoor facilities include a mobile Weber braai, gas and wood braais on a covered patio, a shared pool, and an enclosed veranda. Pets are not allowed, and guests must be dog-friendly.

The second cottage sleeps 4 to 5 guests and is 200 m from the main homestead. It features 2 small double bedrooms, 1 shower room, 1 bathroom, and a sofa bed for 1 child. The kitchenette has a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove and oven, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. Guests can use indoor and outdoor dining areas, gas and wood braais, open parking, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor shower bath. Pets are not allowed.

Maflute’s Shed accommodates 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a sofa bed for 1 child. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove and oven, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. Outdoor living includes a braai and dining area, fenced garden, undercover parking, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor shower bath. Pets are allowed by arrangement.

All cottages include fans, mosquito repellents, extra blankets, tea and filter coffee supplies with milk, linen, bath towels, shower soap, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, daily supply of ice and wood, and a baby travel cot on request. The farm setting offers views in every direction and opportunities to observe wildlife such as buck, zebra, gecko, bats, and owls.

The property is fully solar- and gas-powered, and encourages mindful energy use. Portable air conditioners, humidifiers, fireworks, heavy machinery, and any form of shooting are not permitted.

Local activities include wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and hiking.
