theLAB Robertson is a Cape Dutch-style guest house situated in the little-known, charming, rural area of Klaas Voogds West. It is just off the R60 between Robertson and Ashton, and only 160 km from Cape Town.

Offering a perfectly balanced juxtapositioning of beautiful rural countryside, historical Cape Dutch-style buildings, and modern rooms and facilities, guests will be spoiled for choice in a variety of high-tech, beautiful eco-rooms. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a TV with Netflix, a bar fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

theLAB room automation system will undoubtedly be the star of your stay and is incorporated into each room, enabling you to control your room through voice command. Some of the rooms offer a private Jacuzzi which is available to use at an additional fee.

theLAB Robertson boasts an outside bar in a shady area beside the pool with a range of drinks on offer. Relax in the Infinity swimming pool on the stunning deck area and enjoy the views over the dam with rich bird life, the vineyards and the orchards.

Lunch and dinner are available from the in-house restaurant. The Wellness Cabin is situated on the banks of the dam offering a variety of treatments. The therapist comes in by appointment only. Conference facilities are available in the 20-seater theHUB conference room where participants’ eyes will be torn between the beautiful views outside the room and the high-tech 55” Microsoft Surface HUB.

Other facilities and amenities include bicycle and e-scooter hire, as well as a free electric car charging station for overnight guests.
