Great amenities at great value. Comfort, style and budget-friendly - this spot ticks so many boxes. Staff are very warm and accommodating, and being welcomed with a fire burning in the common lounge each evening just adds a special touch of hospitality. This would make an exceptional option for a group sharing to take full advantage of the various common spaces. This is a true gem and we will be back!

Awesome! I stayed over for 2 nights with my 75-year-old dad who is on crutches and is struggling to walk. I want to thank Happy for his assistance with my father. He was very respectful and went out of his way to make sure that my father was comfortable. My dad enjoyed the fire in the fireplace on the chilly evenings, which made me happy. Happy's positive attitude towards his work and excellent customer service have ensured that I will only book with Thelma & You when I visit Cape Town. Thanks, Happy, for making our stay so awesome!

Perfect for a quick overnight in Cape Town. Everything was great. We only needed accommodation for one night, and for that it was perfect (obviously would be nice for an extended stay as well). The room was nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Exactly what we needed and great value for money. Thanks to the hosts!

Comfortable overnight stay. Nicely appointed, but the room was a bit cold. An electric blanket could be a nice addition. Very comfortable bed! Parking area very tight, might not be suitable for big vehicles. Staff super friendly and welcoming! The lounge is smaller than the picture, but the fire at night is a real treat. Stunning mountain view from the front garden area.

Very nice stay, thanks. Pleasant stay for one night. We were welcomed with a nice warm living area; the fire was burning. The room was warm and cosy, and all was there that we needed. Friendly welcome; would stay there again.

2 Oceans naweek verblyf. Oulike plek - sentraal geleë en netjies. Dis nie 'n B&B nie, maar daar is 'n gemeenskaplike kombuis met oorgenoeg geriewe om vir jouself iets te maak. In die Kaap eet mense in elk geval uit by al die lieflike plekke.

Average. The windows don't close properly and the bedroom door rattles in the wind. The parking inside or on the street is not ideal, and not made clear when booking. It is better to advertise the whole place for one booking rather than per room. Sadly, I wouldn't stay here again. When I left, there was no one to hand the keys over to, or do a check-out. Disappointing.

Won't be back. Lovely room, yet the floor in the room corner is collapsing underfoot. Noise levels from the main home are not acceptable; all can be heard through the walls, including staff shouting to friends who stayed the night. Bar fridge rates are excessively high (bottle of water R40).

The noise you encountered was from fellow guests, who were promptly spoken to and asked to lower their volume to ensure a more peaceful environment for everyone.
