Description

Thunzi Bush Lodge offers charming self-catering accommodation just 20 km from Gqeberha, set in a peaceful coastal forest and bush sanctuary. Guests can relax by the Lazy Lizard pool, enjoy a bush braai, and explore nearby forest and beach trails, with opportunities for bird watching, bass fishing, and wildlife spotting, including bushbuck, vervet monkeys, and blue duiker.

The wooden chalets sleep between 2 to 4 guests, each featuring comfortable bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and private braai areas. Many also include a wood-fired hot tub or outdoor bath for the ultimate in forest-side relaxation.

The Thunzi Stargazing Dome consists of 3 interconnected pods. A bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. The dome sleeps 2 guests. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bath and shower, and its own private wood-fired hot tub on the deck overlooking the wetlands.

Daily servicing and laundry facilities are available to ensure a comfortable stay.

For those eager to explore further, Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve, both renowned as homes to Africa’s Big 5, are conveniently located just a short drive away.
