Our visit there was excellent, very beautiful, thank you. We had a great stay, thank you very much. Mould everywhere. The only good thing I can say about Tropico House is that they helped us out on very short notice to find a place to stay for the weekend. Unfortunately, the place was dirty and had a very strong smell of mould. There was mould everywhere. Also, the place is not very secure and we even had to park our car out on the curb the second night as the other person who stayed in one of the other rooms had parked in such a way as to make it impossible for us to park in the yard. Also, even though there are pictures of the braai on the website, it proved basically impossible to actually use the braai as it looked like a construction site around it. Another thing that was a thorn in our sides was the shower. Whenever used, it would create a huge mess on the bathroom floor as there are no partitions around the shower. A lot of our towels were used just trying to contain all the water and dry the floor.

We will definitely not be back again. The accommodation was not worth the rate. R900 per night and this was shell room 1, which actually costs R1 per night. The unit only has a bar fridge and there are no other kitchen items, except a kettle. There is no microwave. The TV only has, basically, one channel (Kyknet). I would have expected more at this rate. Luckily we were only there for one night. Our usual place we go to was unfortunately booked for the weekend, but offers far more value for your money and we pay R900 per night there as well.
