Description

Uitershoek Guest House is a self-catering farmhouse situated in the Central Karoo and is 3 kilometers from the N1 highway. It is 50 kilometers north of the tourist-friendly town of Prince Albert. This is a stand-alone house with no neighbors nearby.

The 2 bedroom house can accommodate up to 4 people. The main bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds with one bathroom that is equipped with a shower. There is a fireplace on the porch outside the house. The porch has a ramp from the garage area.

The open kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, and kettle. The lounge area has comfy seating and for bad weather days, there is a TV with selected DStv channels. Guests are welcome to bring their own decoder and smart card for additional channels. Guests who like to braai will have the experience to do it farm-style in a huge under-roof fire pit.

Guests are welcome to experience the farmland by walking or driving in the Karoo veld or between the vegetable seed fields. The Swartberg Pass near Prince Albert is 60 kilometers from Uitershoek Farm. This part of the Karoo is well known for kudu and springbok and may be lucky enough to spot porcupines, duiker, and steenbok.

Please note there are gravel roads leading to the accommodation.
