Lovely position, nice layout, awesome bathrooms, good linen (bedding and towels). Lovely spot on the river, nice layout. Top-class bedding and luxurious towels. Bathrooms are lovely. Needs TLC. The owner should find a new cleaning and maintenance team. A shade net is needed over the outside braai area, which would make it awesome as it is on the river. Lovely mountain views with regular visits across the river by game animals: kudu, blesbuck, waterbuck, rooihartebees, impala.

Stunning location. Comfortable, luxurious lodging. Comfortable, spacious lodging with stunning views. Tasteful furnishings and 4 very private ensuite bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. It's a shame the main gas supply was faulty; could not use the heaters in the bedrooms. No soap in the bathrooms. An enjoyable stopover.

My concern is that the place was dirty; proper cleaning needs to be conducted. My stay was perfect, though I was not happy with the house cleaning. The windows are dirty, the toilet pots had rust, and there was no gas for the bedroom fireplaces.

The location is great and the views are amazing. The house is great but it's a bit run down and not the same as what is shown by the pictures online. The house was not cleaned properly and there was wet, dirty bedding in one of the bathroom tubs.

The place is beautiful; only maintenance is needed. The place needs maintenance and repairs on doors and deep cleaning. It also does not have a TV, which is one of the things that would discourage me from booking again. One of the rooms facing the river has a hole in the roof, not the one by the kitchen; bugs were coming into the room through the hole, and we found two dead ones, which raises questions about the cleanliness. WiFi is only at the reception area, not in the unit.
