Rustig, privaat, pragtig, skoon. Fantastiese rustieke en private wegbreek. Perfek om weg te kom van die stad om natuur en stilte te geniet. Alles wat 'n mens sal benodig en meer. Hulle het 'n battery en WiFi ook, die battery het goed gehou deur die aand.

Lovely relaxed getaway. Really lovely little spot, set in the fynbos, and a touch of rural charm with roosters crowing and a windmill at the entrance. Had a very well stocked kitchen with plastic bowls for the kids through to ice buckets and champagne glasses. Even a lovely cast iron pan that we could use on the braai. The bus is a hit for entertaining young kids, letting them drive, and the cargo net is very comfy with the provided cushions. Well laid out decks around the hot tub make for an easy-going social space. Both spaces are very cosy with the fires lit, and while there is a small hand axe, would recommend bringing smaller starter pieces for getting fires going. Great host, very communicative.

Relaxed stay and a place to get away from everything. If you are looking to stay away from mobile phone signals, limited power, and straight-up bonfires every night, this is your place! The stars at night are worth every penny!

Awesome. We had a peaceful holiday. Needs some decking chairs and WiFi connection. We could not charge our cellphones.

Bietjie area geraas, alle verdere benodighede was daar, heerlik ontspan. My man het 'n stort gemis. Die omringende bure was bietjie nader as verwag. By vorige plekke was daar 'n bietjie hout ingesluit by die prys, maar hier is alle hout ekstra. Instruksies om toegang te kry was baie professioneel behartig. Die 3-nag minimum moet regtig oorweeg word.

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed a relaxing time and found our self check-in instructions easy to understand. We are sorry to hear about “a little area noise” and that proximity to neighbours caught you off guard. We completely understand that everyone’s idea of peace and quiet is unique. Our 1.2ha smallholding is nestled in a low intensity farming community and our closest neighbour is 100m away. For us, having experienced much closer neighbours in city life apartment living, suburban complex living and the usual coastal holiday towns with vibacrete walls, this 100m distance feels like absolute bliss and offers a wonderful sense of privacy. We are always striving for accurate representation and we will certainly review our listing and photos to ensure we even better convey the nature of our surroundings. The closest tar road is a comfortable 1.3km away, easily accessible by any standard vehicle - no 4x4 needed. Adding a shower is an excellent suggestion and we will be sure to investigate how this can be incorporated. You will be happy to know that we have since updated the listing to accommodate a minimum 2-night stay over weekends and a 3-night stay during the week. To keep our nightly rates as affordable as possible (as at the date of review R305 per person or R390 per person for a 4-person weekend stay), we don’t build the cost of firewood into the booking. However, as per booking instructions, you are always welcome to bring your own or for convenience, you may purchase it from us at cost price - there is no markup on firewood. We value your comments as they help us improve the guest experience.
