Lovely, delicious. Hidden gem. We only stayed one night, but it was lovely. The cottage is lovely and fully equipped. It's truly a "hidden gem". Would definitely recommend it. Owners are very friendly and quick to help. The lady who met us there was also very helpful and a wonderful person. Will definitely come and stay here again in the future, just for a longer stay this time.

Beautiful remote close to nature. We needed a place nearby where we were working to stay over. This turned out to be amazing. Coffee machine, Smart TV, and all the equipment needed for our stay. An incredible braai area which we used every evening. Definitely recommend it. I wish we were on holiday to explore it more on foot.

Stunningly renovated and very well equipped house in beautiful surroundings. A real off the beaten track gem! Beautifully restored house. Extremely well equipped. Warm welcome on arrival. Would definitely stay here again. Note that the 3 km farm road from the R62 is quite rough and vehicles with a lower than normal ground clearance may find it challenging.

Wish Vergenoeg was "near enough" (closer)! Yes! We enjoyed every moment of our 3 nights at Vergenoeg. The host's communication was top notch! The fields around Vergenoeg in July are beautifully adorned in orange with all the aloes blooming!

A very comfortable cottage nestled in beautiful, peaceful Karoo valley. We loved our weekend stay at Vergenoeg. The spacious cottage had everything (and more) for a very comfortable time away. We had some great walks in the beautiful, peaceful Karoo surroundings with aloes everywhere - in full bloom.
