Description

Located just outside Ladismith and offering breathtaking views, Vergenoeg is a self-catering cottage ideal for anyone needing a break from city life.

The spacious cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. A single sleeper couch in the lounge provides additional sleeping space upon request and is subject to the booking guest bringing their own fitted sheet, duvet and pillow. All other linen, bath towels and liquid soaps are provided for a comfortable stay.

The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery and a coffee machine. Leading from the kitchen is a 6-seater dining table and a lounge area with comfortable couches, a TV and a fireplace. Free uncapped Wi-Fi is available in our secluded getaway location - kindly note that the GEO satellite internet provider in the area may be slow or unstable during poor weather conditions.

Outside, guests can enjoy alfresco meals on the furnished patio overlooking the braai area and lush garden. There are 200 hectares to roam and explore, with the chance to spot wildlife such as baboons, caracals, jackals, duiker and kudu. Birdlife is abundant, from owls to eagles. Secure parking is provided, and for those keen to explore further, the Klein Swartberg Mountain Catchment is just 2.9 km away.
