It wasn't good. It was great! Beautiful finishes, the pics did not do the place justice. We loved how pet friendly Villa Mimosa is.

Safety with more than a hint of luxury. Just found this house via an internet search. My goodness, did we stumble upon a treasure. Firstly, the accommodation feels very safe and secure with off-road parking behind electric gates. The accommodation has to be described as “high end” from Nespresso coffee machine, Smeg cooker, kettle, toaster (you get the idea), two large walk-in rain head showers, not to mention the massive bed. Loads of space to move around inside. The garden and pool area are beautiful with Braai and pizza oven. The house is very well maintained and spotlessly clean (well done), as are the garden and pool. The host is an absolute star; he was very generous with his time and gave us loads of suggestions about local walks, excursions, places to visit, recommendations for coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Oh my word, was he wonderful! When, on the way from the airport in Cape Town, we had an emergency and one of our party needed medical attention, our host adopted the problem as we were en route, organising for a local doctor to meet us at the property to assist. It is not the responsibility of any host to adopt a guest’s problems, but as a stranger in a foreign country, we really appreciate his help. He is caring and generous with his time and is very supportive. Highly recommend this place and the host.

A perfect stay at Villa Mimosa! Our stay at Villa Mimosa was absolutely fantastic! The house is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the amazing wood-fired pizza oven—such a great touch for a fun and delicious evening! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Villa Mimosa for a perfect retreat!

Great home away from home for a peaceful getaway along the west coast. Beautiful unit and perfect getaway along the west coast from the bustling city. Quiet neighbourhood with a 1 km walking distance away from the beach with several different paths leading to the beachfront. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need (with plenty of space) and the friendly owner goes beyond expectations with complimentary essentials to make you, as a guest, feel comfortable and happy during your stay. The outdoor pool and pizza oven are a great additional bonus that elevates your stay, with the balcony offering an amazing view.

What a lovely house. Will most definitely go back again. Best stay ever! It was so perfect. Can't wait to go back!
