Not very impressed. For the size group we were - 8 adults, there were only 4 towels. Not enough for bath and beach. We had to request and that appeared a great effort! Not enough dish towels. 1 for 8 people over 4 days. The no fire is clearly from an issue historically, but this should be allowed - just take a deposit to ensure cover of problems. No air conditioning in the rooms and lounge for the price paid for the unit is not acceptable.

I am surprised to have received this review… Vista Oceana is a beautiful house with the most amazing views and provides excellent value for money in every aspect. I need to make a few corrections to your review : 8 Bath towels were already provided on arrival and were in the cupboards of the 4 bedrooms. Correct - We do not provide towels for the beach. We do however have our own swimming pool and out of courtesy provide pool towels to our guests. These pool towels were in a separate cupboard for your use. Yes – no open fires are allowed : as The KZN winds can easily cause a fire to spread - and the house and the houses around it will burn down. A moveable gas braai is provided for ease of use. Each room is equipped with strong ceiling fans and only the main bedroom is equipped with an aircon and ceiling fan – this is more than sufficient. Vista Oceana has always left everyone impressed and I am sorry if you felt otherwise…
