Very quiet and peaceful. Saw a lot of wildlife, a very peaceful place and beautiful views.

Nice pet-friendly accommodation surrounded by wildlife. Myself and my husband and our dogs had a great stay at Die Veldhuis @ Vyvers Rus. The cottage was well equipped and private. It was great to walk in the nature reserve and watch the wildlife. Would recommend anytime.

The stay was pleasant, the surroundings are beautiful. The guest farm house was very neat and clean. The facilities were also modern and well maintained. However, there were a few small things that bothered us. There was only one toilet roll for three people for two days, and too little fresh drinking water available. We were attending a sporting event and needed a lot of drinking water. Unfortunately, our hostess did not respond to our WhatsApp messages, and we also struggled to get the DStv Stream to work. After our sporting event, we had to drive back to the guest farm at night, but the GPS directions we received from the website led us astray. There is also no signboard along the road indicating the name of the guest farm, and no lighting at the entrance. So we drove past the entrance on a very dark road.

Wonderful silence and nature with our children. It was a lovely getaway with the most beautiful wildlife viewing routes. We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful park and scenery.
