Tranquility at it's best!! The most amazing hidden treasure – what a location! Absolutely loved our stay! Tranquil, plenty of wildlife on the farm, LOVELY log cabins with comfortable beds and cushions. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils, etc. The aircon in the cabin was a bonus for heating purposes (July). Cabins are not wheelchair-friendly. Braai facilities at every cabin, and the walking trails are well thought out – not too long, but long enough to get your daily exercise – and amazingly beautiful! The waterfall is an absolute must-see. Lovely 4x4 track too! Just a heads-up: the restaurant is currently closed (hence the 4* for customer service), which we were not aware of, and the owner is busy with major renovations on parts of the farm which can disturb the peace. They were kind enough to stop for the week while we were there, on our request – thank you to the website for facilitating. Overall experience was great. If we are ever in the vicinity again, I will definitely want to stay there again.

Special place in the most beautiful surroundings. The log house is well equipped and comfortable. Only found the sink in the kitchen very small.

Beautiful environment but property facilities not as advertised. Conditional yes to would we recommend the lodge. Fantastic setting with potential. Unfortunately, the property has an abandoned feeling about it. The lodge itself, together with the restaurant, bar and patio, were all closed, so any lodge meals were not available. We stayed in a chalet which was basic but comfortable. No towels were provided.

Not nice at all. We complained the first night about the outside lights not working at the braai area and nothing was done about it. We were not informed about the R500 cash key deposit. It is winter and very cold, but the aircon does not work on heater and the parking is far from the cottages; you have to carry all your luggage a long way. No WiFi as they advertise and no restaurant. Also no cleaning services.

The restaurant and bar are closed down, also still advertising restaurant. Phenomenal, interesting and so very peaceful, food was delicious, staff friendly. Had a great time, hiking trail was great. Peaceful and had a pleasant time. Would recommend to anyone!
