Weskus Bokkompie is a charming self-catering holiday home located in Velddrif. Perfectly positioned above the well-known Bokkomlaan with stunning views over the Bergriver. This vibrant area serves as the heart of Velddrif during weekends and holidays, offering a lively atmosphere for socialising, fishing and water activities for the whole family.
The property accommodates up to 7 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, a ceiling fan and dressing tables. 2 Bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, while the third bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet, and shower. Linen and bath towels are provided for guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. The open-plan living area features a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV, Wi-Fi access, a dining table for 8, and an indoor braai.
The home opens onto a covered patio with outdoor seating, a built-in braai, and a small splash pool that can be heated via a firewood system. Additional features include a wrap-around verandah, private entrance to Bokkomlaan, paved walkways, and a remote-controlled gate to the property. The property offers ample space for cars, a boat, and trailer parking and welcomes small pets on request. All windows are fitted with shutter blinds, burglar bars, and the main doors have trellidoors for added security and fresh airflow without worry.
A private gate offers direct access to the Bergriver and Bokkomlaan. Perfect for fishing, riverside walks, cycling, bird watching, canoeing, stand-up paddle or exploring the closeby small shops, restaurants, or buying your fresh bokkoms from local fishermen for your evening braai. Ample space to bring your own boat to explore the Berg River. We provide a canoe for 2 people to explore the Bergriver. Solar panels have been installed to ensure a consistent power supply at the property, offering guests additional peace of mind during their stay.
