Description

Wildehondekloof offers comfortable accommodation on a 4000-hectare private game reserve in the heart of the Little Karoo’s Swartberg mountain range. The game reserve is situated approximately 46 km from the town of Oudtshoorn.

The luxury lodge offers accommodation in 9 en-suite bedrooms, some with air-conditioning and lovely views of the mountain and river, a Self-Catering House and a private presidential suite with a king-size bed. The suite also features a private veranda overlooking the mountains and river. Each of the 9 en-suite bedrooms is equipped with bed linen, bath towels, toiletries, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A laundry facility is provided for guests, and the lodge offers free Wi-Fi. The Self-Catering House consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The double-sided fireplace situated in the middle of the spacious lounge invites guests to enjoy time with friends and family. The indoor dining area has a wood braai and a yellowwood bar with under-the-counter fridges and an ice machine. The wood-fired pizza oven is situated outdoors and is undercover. The lodge also features a boma nestled between the poplar trees; wood and firelighters are provided for the braai, fireplace, pizza oven and boma. This property is solar-powered.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset game drives, with the chance to spot giraffes, Cape Mountain zebra, sables, eland, and kudu to name a few, as well as the diverse birdlife. Other activities in the surrounding area include hiking trails mountain biking, and swimming.
