Mooi, ruim, skoon en het alles wat jy nodig het. Baie gerieflik en ruim. Enigste kommentaar is dat een die stort baie lek en toegang tot die braai area is beperk/ongemaklik is omdat jy heeltemal buite om moet loop of deur die een slaapkamer (wat die naaste is) moet gaan.

Behalwe die paar "maintenance issues" het ons die verblyf by Wildgoose Lodge geniet. Akkommodasie is goed geprys, maar die huis kort heelwat "maintenance". (DStv is af a.g.v. geen betaling, aircon en ligte in die 2de kamer is stukkend, asook 'n toilet wat permanent water tap. 2 van die 6 beddens in die loft moet definitief vervang word).

Not great. The place is beautiful and in a beautiful location not too far in from the main road, but the unit is just way too noisy. If someone walks on the second floor and you are in one of the downstairs rooms, it makes a terrible noise that you actually get a fright awake. My 1-year-old refused to go in the room because the noise scared him. The upstairs area was not maintained at all; there was grass found under the duvet cover, black spots all over the white pillows, and there was a dirty sock hidden under the curtains in the lounge. There were dirty cups in the kitchen cupboards; you could still see the old coffee ring in the cup, it was clearly not washed properly. We just could not get the temperature correct in the shower; it was clearly a gas geyser, and if you have a gas geyser, you can't have mixer taps, you must have normal taps. So we couldn't shower either because it was either freezing or burning.

Dear Tayyibah, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay at Wildgoose Lodge. We truly appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us gain valuable insights and continually improve our service. We are pleased that you found the lodge beautiful — it is always encouraging to know when guests appreciate the setting. However, we were concerned to read that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding noise, our property is a large, independent house, not a unit, set on 2,500 square metres of land. We aim to provide a peaceful environment for all guests; however, due to the nature of the wooden flooring, sounds such as jumping or running in the upper areas can occasionally carry to the rooms below. With respect to cleanliness, we were surprised by your comments, as no concerns or photographs were shared with us during your stay. Our housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining high standards, and we would have been happy to attend to any issues promptly had we been made aware. As for the plumbing and geyser system, please be assured that our gas geyser operates correctly with both mixers and taps and is regularly maintained. Baie lekker. Dit was baie lekker en gerieflik. Daar is egter 'n paar instandhoudingskwessies wat agterweë gebly het.

Rustig, luuks, skoon en netjies. Baie lekker beddens. Daar is te min potte en panne vir groot gesinne. Aandag kan gegee word aan die hoofbadkamer se stortdeure. DSTV was nie geaktiveer nie.

Hi Elsie, thank you very much for the review. We understand that there was no electricity, but with load shedding and all the electricity issues that are being experienced throughout South Africa at the moment, it was out of our control. Even if we could get an electrician out in the middle of the night when you contacted me, there was nothing they could do. The electricity did come back on in the early hours of the morning.

Die huis het baie aandag nodig. Die huis se uitleg is baie onprakties. Jy moet deur 'n kamer gaan om buite by die kuier area te kom. Die persone wat bo op die loft slaap, moes badkamers deel wat in die kamers onder is. Daar het geen diere gekom nie, ten spyte van kos wat ons vir hulle gekoop het.

There are two full bathrooms in the house and one in the entertainment area. I really do not have any control over whether the animals come around or not. We were there last week and we had a whole dazzle of zebras visit. The giraffes came right into the yard and the mongoose were all over the yard. I cannot even count how many warthogs and impala visited. It's a game reserve and not a zoo.

Ons het lekker gebly. Ongelukkig oor geen krag en geen terugvoer. Baie netjies. Kliëntediens kan verbeter van die lodge se kant af. Ons het die hele aand sonder krag gesit. Het die eienaar gebel, maar niemand was uitgestuur om te kom kyk nie.
