Our stay at Winterfell Eco Cabin was pure magic. Beautiful views, spotless cabin. Our stay at Winterfell Eco Cabin was nothing short of magical. The cabin sits on a beautiful piece of land with breathtaking views of the Dullstroom hills in every direction. Two friendly donkeys visited us frequently, adding such a charming touch to the peaceful setting. The cabin itself is spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The bed is positioned perfectly to watch the sunrise over the hills while enjoying a cup of coffee - it truly feels like a 5-star experience. Everything inside is thoughtfully prepared, from the fully equipped kitchen (complete with an air fryer) to the elegant finishes throughout. The hot tub was, without a doubt, our favourite part of the stay. We spent hours relaxing in the crystal-clear water, surrounded by nature and quiet. There’s also a cosy furnace inside the cabin that we can’t wait to try out on our next winter visit to complete the full cabin experience. Hosts are some of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve ever met. They respected our privacy but were always available if we needed anything. They went far above and beyond to help me plan a surprise proposal for my girlfriend - organising flowers, a beautiful snack platter with champagne, pillows, and antique-style décor to create the most romantic setup imaginable. It couldn’t have been more perfect, and I’ll always be grateful for their help in making such a special memory possible. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect, and escape the city, Winterfell Eco Cabin is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. My stay at Winterfell Eco Cabin was incredibly peaceful. What stood out most was the cabin’s thoughtful design. It beautifully blends modern eco-conscious architecture with natural materials, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The use of large windows brought in plenty of natural light and offered stunning views of the surrounding nature, making it easy to relax and unwind.

The views are stunning, offering the perfect mix of peace and natural beauty that instantly makes you feel relaxed and connected to nature. The cabin itself is cozy, well-kept, and perfectly designed for a tranquil getaway. A special mention goes to Lisinda, whose top-tier hospitality truly elevated our stay. She went above and beyond with a special romantic setup that made our visit unforgettable as we celebrated our 3-year wedding anniversary. We also got the hot tub prepared for us upon our arrival. Extremely relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so cared for; they truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, spoiling us with gifts on arrival for our honeymoon. The peaceful setting, the sweet donkeys that visited us every day, and evenings spent in the jacuzzi made our stay feel like something out of a dream. It was the most relaxing, special time, and one we’ll never forget. This is one of those places that makes you so grateful to be living in such a beautiful country. We left with the best memories.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing - the view was breathtaking, had a hot tub and a pergola to view a dam. The owners were so welcoming, kept in contact, and were very helpful.
