Peaceful and soul-filling. We had a lovely and much needed break away from the city! The kids loved the hikes, the hot tub, games and the simplicity of just being together with no distractions! They keep asking when we're going back .

We'll be back. We were looking for something secluded and in the bush or quiet. This was perfect. Very comfy, hot tub great, plenty of excellent walks in the fynbos, lekker pools to swim in. Outside braai fine, and plenty of wood and fire starter. Night sky exceptional.

Daar word aandag geskenk aan klein detail om 'n mens welkom te laat voel. Beste was die hottub in die tuin. Dit was 'n groot bederf. Honde het net so geniet om omgewing te verken. Sal beslis weer besoek.

Great stay. The stay was excellent, hospitality was great and venue was great.

Heerlike rustige verblyf in die fynbos. Ons gesin van 4 het baie lekker gebly, geslaap, gestap en in die warmbad gelê. Die huisie het alles gehad wat nodig was en ons het lekker afgesonder gevoel van die wêreld in die tyd wat ons daar was.

A great getaway into nature. It was perfect for a Valentine's getaway. The cottage was very comfortable and had ample cooking equipment. The swimming dam offered a welcome cooling off in the heat. The various hiking trails are clearly laid out (with varying degrees of difficulty). The hike to the summit, aka "God's View", is worth the effort despite being a bit of a steep trudge at times. The cottage is very private; you could well imagine you were entirely alone in the valley.

Lovely little cottage, tucked away in the fynbos. This was a truly magical stay; everything you could want, and lots of beautiful things to see and explore! We woke up to the sound of happy birds every morning. Walking onto the patio with our morning coffee, you are greeted by all of the flora and fauna on the reserve. Took a short, well-marked trail around the cabins. Pity the wind at night was too fierce during our stay, so we couldn't enjoy the hot tub. A must do for our next visit!

Relaxed, peaceful, secluded - great bonding time. This was what we (our family of 4) wished for - a relaxed and quiet breakaway, just being together spending quality time away from our busy schedules. It was our son's birthday. We were greeted with happy birthday wishes and a bottle of red wine - very thoughtful of our host. The sunny weather was amazing and the smell of buchu and fynbos filled the air. Colourful butterflies and singing birds entertained us. We did two hiking trails - high up the mountain, played a bit of table tennis and enjoyed the hot tub, at a stage too hot! We laughed a lot, used a lot of firewood, played a family game and soft guitar music, ate too much, slept nicely and warm. This weekend was like medicine for the soul from our mother nature. Thank you very much.
