Oorstaan was 'n goeie ondervinding. Kan sterk aanbeveel. Goed ontvang deur gasheer. Ons is ook bederf met 'n tuisgebakte brood met botter en konfyt. Hout is ook verskaf vir 'n vleisbraai en ons is uitgenooi om op die plaas te stap.

Gasvryheid soos min, gerief en rustigheid is onoortreflik. Knus atmosfeer, heerlik bed, letterlik alles wat jy benodig om weg te breek. Rustig, alles skoon en netjies. Ons sal definitief enigiemand soontoe verwys. Vriendelike gasheer. Hier kry jy rus vir jou siel.

Wonderful farm stay with everything you need. What a lovely cottage with special touches. The host was wonderful and went out of his way to assist us. We will definitely go back.

Wonderlike ontspanne atmosfeer in puik omgewing in die Swartberge. Uitstekende verblyf met alle geriewe wat mens nodig het. Vuurmaak hout en kaggel vir koue aande met uitsig op die Swartberge, jammer dit was so kort.

Uitstekende blyplek waar gasheer jou nie elke 5 minute hinder nie. Aan te beveel. Baie lekker. Kon die bloedmaan afneem sonder enige ligversteuring.

Pragtige sonsondergang en -opkoms. Ons het ons 2 nagte verskriklik geniet. Lieflike uitsig en pragtige omgewing. Huis is met smaak voltooi en afgerond. Alles wat ons benodig het onder een dak. Lieflike stoeparea met baie sitplek en kuierarea. Selfs lekkernies in bottels, vla en kitspoedings wat ons kon gebruik as ons sou wou. 'n Juweel in die area.

Rustig, snoesig. Stil, rustig en ten volle toegerus. Ekstras soos jelly en vla was 'n verrassing. Heerlik warm met die kaggel wat knetter.

The best stay ever! Comfortable, warm and hospitable. Our stay was absolutely magical! The accommodation is so comfortable and beautiful. Ben is a wonderful host and made the stay all the more memorable. We will definitely be back and have even recommended it to family and friends. Ben baked us bread and gave us wood for the fire, ensuring we had everything we needed. There were an array of animals that visited us and a handy guide that showed nearby trails, the history of the location and had lists of birds, animals and insects that we could find in the area. The house was beautifully furnished and contained some of the art which was immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with many things that made cooking easy. Ben even offered to pick things up for us from the store in town. Truly a beautiful and amazing stay.

Stargazer's dream! I was on the hunt for clear skies away from city life in an effort to stargaze. Living in the USA, there is no skyline quite like that of ZA. Needless to say, I found it! The location is very safe, clean and spacious. The host was very gracious and an excellent communicator. Vodacom reception was solid and the house had WiFi, hot running water, gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, etc. The host supplied abundant firewood for the firepit, the braai (BBQ) and for the wood-burning stove inside the cabin. The greatest treat was having the farm animals so close: cows, sheep, super friendly horses and dogs; it was a real immersion into country life. I only stayed 3 days but wished for longer. There's also a great reading source highlighting flora, fauna, cycling and hiking routes, history around the area, and sights to see inside the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding super cozy. Highly recommend!

A beautiful cottage in a scenic spot. A great choice. A wonderful farm stay in a beautiful setting. The cottage was very well equipped with lots of little extras. It was very clean and organised. There was wood for the fireplace for the winter nights. We were warmly received by the host, his messages and instructions very clear. The cottage was also fenced in for our dog. We hope to visit again; we enjoyed ourselves so much.
