Warm country hospitality, lovely walks, and fabulous manor house to ourselves. A wonderful family getaway in the heart of the company on a heritage farm in the foothills of the Langeberg. We had the run of the luxuriously renovated 1750s manor house with its huge kitchen, comfy lounge and en suite all to ourselves. Welcomed with a loaf of freshly baked bread by the farmer and friendly rescue family animals from the dogs and cats to Galileo the donkey to Bessie the sheep, Lulu the big black pig, goats, geese, ducks and chickens. Animal lovers and children will be in heaven. Great farm and mountain walks. A unique experience in the heart of the country. Highly recommended as a destination or gateway to the Garden Route.
