"Unfortunately the town was a disappointment. The streets were strewn with litter, the cemetery especially is a disgrace with some graves having been vandalized and others having sunk into sinkholes, most buildings are not being maintained properly and there is very little to do in the form of entertainment. The extreme drought and heat add to an air of shabbiness. Some of the residents we spoke to were however, very friendly and colourful characters. It is such a pity to witness the decline of this small town but hats off to a few individuals who are doing their best to bring about improvements."

Moet nie alle geriewe van groter dorpe verwag nie maar die belangrikste is beskikbaar en daar is 'n paar goeie eetplekkies om van te kies. Die ideale plek om rustig te wees en te rus."
