Description
A Log Home At Buffalo Creek is a self-catering house in Buffalo Creek Estate, situated in Buffeljagsrivier, outside Swellendam in the Western Cape. Perfect for a small group of friends or a family, wanting a tranquil getaway away from the city's hustle and bustle. We can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 4 children.
Accommodation in the house comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have 2 single beds in each and can be found upstairs, and the other two double en-suite bedrooms downstairs. The entire house has a comfortable rustic feel with an indoor fireplace, and the kitchen is equipped with a fridge with a freezer, a microwave and a two-plate stove with a small oven, a kettle as well as crockery and cutlery. The lounge has neat, wooden chairs, and leads out onto a deck, where one can enjoy sundowners.
A Log Home At Buffalo Creek also has 2 braai options which include a fire pit and an undercover braai area on the stoep. A wood-fired hot tub is available but guests must supply their own wood.
We do have neighbours approximately 50m away.
Within a short walk away you will find various water sports at Umshanti, such as boat cruises, and canoeing. These sports are not part of the home but can be arranged at an additional cost.
Please note that we do not cater for parties or loud music.
