African Dawn is located on the slopes of Karbonkelberg in Hout Bay and offers self-catering accommodation with uninterrupted views of Chapman's Peak Drive.

Accommodation consists of 2 units: The Sea Cottage and the Fisherman's Cottage. The Sea Cottage has 2 rooms separated by a lockable sliding door with curtains, sharing a bathroom. Each room has its own entrance, and the unit includes a queen-size bed and a double bed, bar fridge, microwave, and smart televisions with Openview. This unit suits a couple with 1 or 2 children or 2 couples travelling together. If booked by one couple, the second room remains unoccupied. Guests can access the hob in the main kitchen.

The Fisherman’s Cottage is a self-catering unit with a private entrance. It has a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette with a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, and basic appliances.

Shared facilities include a living area with multiple couches, a fireplace, and dining space for over 15 guests. The entertainment area has a braai, dining table, pool table, and leads to a deck with a swimming pool and views of the sea and mountains. Free Wi-Fi is available. The owner resides in a separate upstairs unit.
