Description

Cottage 1 @ African Olive Country Estate is a charming self-catering unit set among other units on the African Olive Country Estate, a working farm and gateway to the Dome Land World Heritage Site. It is conveniently located just 1 km from Parys on a tarred road, close enough for easy access to town yet far enough to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside.

This cottage features 1 bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and bidet toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining area has a 4-seater dining table and chairs and opens into a lounge furnished with a comfortable couch and wingback chair, plus a Smart TV with YouTube, Netflix, and OpenView channels. A cosy fireplace is available for chilly winter evenings. Guests are advised to bring their own wood. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also provided.

The cottage opens onto a patio with views of the Dome Land and features a Weber braai. Braai facilities are also available at the communal lapa area, and guests may enjoy the shared swimming pool. Visitors can expect to see spotted goats wandering by, Olie the ostrich, and wild geese while relaxing on the patio. Please note that this is a working farm and not a resort, and no entertainment facilities are provided.
