A memorable experience at Aquila Private Game Reserve. We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Aquila Private Game Reserve, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were entranced with drinks on arrival, the stunning landscapes and the vibrant energy of nature all around. Our experience was enhanced tremendously by our incredible tour guide, Keano. His passion for wildlife and deep knowledge of the ecosystem made every moment of the tour engaging and informative. He had a way of bringing the stories of the animals to life, sharing fascinating facts that only a true expert would know. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about the conservation efforts of the reserve. We had the thrill of spotting 4 of the Big Five. The way he skillfully navigated the terrain while keeping us safe and comfortable was truly impressive. Each stop was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to capture the best moments without feeling rushed. The reserve itself is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. The safari drives were simply breathtaking, with each turn revealing an awe-inspiring view or a fascinating animal encounter. We witnessed lions lounging in the afternoon sun as well as coming to greet us at our vehicle, and it felt like we were in a scene straight out of a documentary. In addition to the wildlife, the accommodations were top-notch. The cozy lodge provided a perfect retreat after our daily excursions, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The buffet breakfast, lunch and supper were exceptional and delicious, featuring local cuisine that added to the overall experience. The only disappointment was that we could not make use of the spa facilities, heated pools, etc. because our daughter of 12 years could not enter as it only allowed over 16-year-olds, and we would not go without her. Furthermore, we enjoyed our stay. I would also suggest that they have more activities for 8-16 year olds, for example, go-carts, etc. If you’re looking for an unforgettable getaway that immerses you in the beauty of nature, look no further than Aquila Private Game Reserve. And if you’re lucky enough to have Keano as your guide, you’re in for a real treat! We left with our hearts full and memories that will last a lifetime. Dit was 'n baie lekker naweek! Ons het lekker gebly, die kos was uit die boonste rakke en die personeel was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die plek kort wel baie onderhoud en hulle moet let op die skoonmaak van kamers. Die diere lyk heel gesond en gelukkig en is 'n goeie manier om vir toeriste bloot te stel aan Afrika.

Very pleasant stay. The stay was very pleasant. Just the staff pay more attention to the overseas visitors than the locals.

Wonderlike ervaring, rus vir die siel. Die hele ervaring was heerlik. Die prys is nogal hoog vir 'n baie gemiddelde klas kamer, veral vir Suid-Afrikaners. Maar ek verstaan hulle maak meer voorsiening vir buitelanders. En, as mens die heerlike kos, wildritte en kostes wat dit hulle kos om al die diere te voer in ag neem, verstaan mens die prys bietjie meer. Dit was 'n heerlike naweek en my seuntjie (3) het dit die meeste geniet.

Het dit geniet maar dink nie dit was die geld werd nie. Personeel baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Akkommodasie is goed. Etes was goed maar nie wow nie. "Game Drives" nie heeltemal aan verwagtinge voldoen nie.

Amazing! What a wonderful getaway. The service, food, warm pool, etc. were really amazing. Every safari trip has a different experience, which is great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
