Beach House on Marina Beach is a charming self-catering home that offers a peaceful retreat within the Marina Beach Conservancy in Southbroom. The property is located near a quieter stretch of coastline, ideal for swimming, with lifeguards on duty in the designated area. Dogs are welcome on this beach, making it a great option for pet lovers seeking a relaxing seaside escape.
The house can accommodate up to 7 guests and consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a single bed. These two rooms share a bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, cutlery, crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to a centrally located dining table with chairs. The adjacent lounge features comfortable seating and a TV.
The house opens onto a lovely wooden deck with outdoor seating and braai facilities, perfect for alfresco dining. It offers beautiful views of the tranquil Kent Bay lagoon, where thousands of swallows roost in the reed beds, a unique and calming natural spectacle. A 5000-litre water tank is available on the property, ensuring continued comfort during any unexpected municipal water outages in the area.
While Marina Beach’s Blue Flag beach is located approximately 2 km away, Kent Bay is just a short 500 m walk from the house, offering a closer option for beach outings.
