Amazing little place. Absolutely loved my stay at Bel Air 1, close to the sports event at Paul Cluver. I would definitely go back again.

Baie lekker gebly! Dit was perfek! Skoon, netjies en baie vriendelike diens. Die plek is stunning. Ons sal weer kom as ons 'n plekkie soek vir 'n vinnige wegbreek!

Do recommend. I booked Bel Air for a romantic, intimate weekend away with my partner. The place was cosy, homey, neat, clean, and perfect for two people. The hot tub was amazing; the water remained hot even though the air was freezing cold. An overall cute stay. A braai area would have been a plus. Not much to do in the area, but we took a drive to Hermanus for the day.

Peaceful, ideal, conveniently located. Very quiet and peaceful. A good change from the daily grind. The facilities and amenities were exactly as described and shown in the images provided on the website. The only thing that was amiss for us was an outdoor fireplace to get some coals hot and get the braai going.

Great. A door could be added to the bathroom for privacy, but overall very nice. The stay was very pleasant. Very cosy and very private. However, we could do with a braai area. This is South Africa; we love our braai. The hot tub was a bonus.

Stay was okay we chose this place for the Hot Tub feature which was a let down. Our first day started out great. The place was clean and looked just as the pictures showed. The hot tub was hot and ready, and the fireplace was easy to use. The host, Chantelle, messaged shortly after our arrival, advising that the hot tub would be available until 10 p.m. as we were "awesome guests", and to be mindful of our neighbours, as they are older. To our surprise, at about 7:20 p.m., the hot tub was turned off. The water was still warm enough to enjoy, so we didn’t think too much of it. On our second and last day, we waited for it to be turned on again, as per the website, which states the hot tub can be used from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. We tried contacting the host via WhatsApp and phone, but had no luck. By 4 p.m., nothing had been turned on. We then called the website for assistance. A few minutes later, someone walked past and switched on the hot tub, but by then it was too late. We received no explanation, no apology, and still no reply from the host. The funniest part is that on the morning of checkout, the hot tub was on early.

Skoon, netjies, veilig. Jacuzzi mag minimaal gebruik word. Ons het vreeslik uitgesien na die naweek weg. Ons voel wel die verwelkoming was sleg beplan. Ons het geen inligting ontvang oor hoe om in te klok, waar die sleutels is, of waar om in te gaan. Ons gasheer was oorsee, en ons kon nie in kontak kom met hom. Die nommer wat vir ons gegee was, het deurgegaan na iemand wat nie in beheer is van die verblyf nie. Die persoon was ook op vakansie en ons het ongemaklik gevoel om meer inligting of vrae te vra. Sy was wel behulpsaam en het seker gemaak ons is by die regte hek en hoe om sleutels te kry. Toe ons aanvra of ons 1 uur vroeër kan in klok omdat ons klaar voor die huis was, was dit gesê ons kamer is reg vir ons, maar ons sal moet wag tot 15:00. Ons het toe gevra "moet ons voor die huis sit en wag vir 'n uur?", waarop dit gesê was "Ja, die hek gaan eers 15:00 oop". Die Jacuzzi het 'n uur vroeër afgeskakel, en ook nie weer aangeskakel die volgende dag nie. Die Jacuzzi mag slegs gebruik word tussen 14:00 - 20:00. Dit neem omtrent drie ure om te verhit. Teen 18:00 was dit nog nie veel verhit nie en teen 19:15 het dit afgeskakel. Dit maak dit moeilik om die water tot die beste te geniet. Ons het wel gevra of ons kan ekstra betaal sodat die Jacuzzi vroeër warm kan raak, waarop dit toe gesê was die Jacuzzi mag slegs gebruik word tussen 15:00-18:00. Ons kon ook geen instruksies kry om gebruik te maak van die binne gasbraai nie. Aanbeveling: Klein bietjie liefde in die kombuis nodig. Deksel vir die pot en pan. 1 mengbak of oondbak.
