Berghaven Cottages are situated in the peaceful Champagne Valley, just 25 km from Winterton and surrounded by some of the highest and most beautiful mountain scenery in South Africa. Come and enjoy the invigorating hikes or relax around the pool and get in tune with the peace and tranquillity of this magnificent countryside.
We offer 11 self-catering cottages that can accommodate between two and six guests. Our self-catering cottages are equipped with bed linen and towels, fireplaces and heaters, crockery and cutlery, a fridge, stove topped oven and microwave, kettle and toaster. Each cottage features an outside barbecue facility and a TV with DSTV Hotel channels.
Guests can enjoy our 3 cascading bass filling dams, forest with trails, open spaces for the children to play and ride their bikes, have fun at the playground on swings, trampolines, slide, zip line, tyre tower and swimming pool. Enjoy the farm-style countryside with us at Berghaven. There are various restaurants and hotels nearby, as well as shopping facilities for basic necessities. Nearby us you will find adventure and fun with Helicopter flips, hot air ballooning, horse riding, rafting and tubing, abseiling and zip lining, archery, hiking, mountain biking, reptile center and birds of prey center, antiques and history.
Berghaven offers a specialized wedding service and venue hire. Get married in the mountains, say your vows in the forest and celebrate next to the dam. Ideal for small or large weddings.
Access to the Valley is very easy off the main highway, the roads are all tarred and we signposted.
