Bergview Haven Guesthouse offers self-catering accommodation in a beautiful, modern, spacious family vacation home with a lovely large garden, located at the foot of the Central Drakensberg in KwaZulu-Natal, Winterton.
The property can accommodate 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with a ceiling fan, a walk-in closet, and a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and double-basins. The second bedroom features 2 three-quarter beds and air-conditioning. The third bedroom has a bunk bed that can be converted into 2 single beds, as well as air-conditioning. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom equipped with a bath, toilet, and basin. The fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, and a smaller, comfortable en-suite with a shower, toilet, and basin.
The open-plan living area is spacious and comfortable, consisting of a lounge, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a 4-burner stove with oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave, electric and gas kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and a complete set of cutlery, cookware, and crockery. Guests can dine at a beautiful, modern 10-seater table with a cozy fireplace. The lounge is cozy and opens through large doors to the braai area, which overlooks the breathtaking mountains. The lounge features a comfortable L-shaped couch and a smart TV with Netflix.
Free Wi-Fi is provided, and secure open parking for 2 vehicles is available on the street side.
The guesthouse is located in the heart of the Central Drakensberg, close to the Drakensberg Sun Hotel, where guests can also make use of the resort’s restaurant and swimming pool. A wide variety of restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, hiking and mountain biking trails are available nearby.
