Very nice! Very comfortable and beautiful!

Satisfied. Stylish. Everything we needed was at our disposal. This was our second time staying at Birchwood A & B for a short break and we enjoyed every moment. There were a few things that bothered me this time: 1. The toaster didn't work - we had to hold the button down all the time so that the bread could be toasted. 2. I did notice that the drain pipe under one of the sinks was leaking, which made it a bit messy when washing hands. 3. The biggest frustration was the long grass. They didn't come to mow the grass until the day we left (Friday). I was so looking forward to playing on the grass with my 1-year-old, but there were these little flowers that attracted a lot of bees, which made it incredibly dangerous for both of us since my child and I are allergic to bees. But apart from the above complaints, I was still satisfied with the stay. The heaters in the rooms were definitely a plus for those cold evenings and mornings.

Nice comfortable family home. Very nice and comfortable stay.

Good location and good facilities. Just not up to the standard expected. We enjoyed the place, but did not feel that we got value for money. The place was not very clean, especially the living room carpet. The bedding was clean but torn. There were no basics such as salt, coffee, tea or soap in the shower or bath. For the price per night I would expect the above.

Breathtaking view, good location, beautiful house, hostess was fantastic. We had a really nice stay at Birchwood B - clean, tidy and friendly service.

Excellent location and value for money. We have been visiting Clarens Holf and Trout Estate for the past 24 years. It remains our first choice destination, and the last visit only confirmed it again.
