This was our second visit to Birdsong and would happily do it again. Charles is the perfect host. He welcomed us warmly and made sure we were satisfied.

Perfect location with a beautiful view. Great location with a beautiful view. Lovely time. Great snow bound weekend. Loved the location and view. Facilities were fantastic. The log fireplace was so great in the cold.

Comfortable, rejuvenating and relaxing. We had a wonderful Christmas stay with our adult children. Comfortable and spacious, and close to many of the Champagne Valley attractions.

Nice, comfortable, tidy, and very nice host. The house is well appointed with everything one needs, including a fireplace for the colder weather. The house has a fantastic view of the lake when you sit on the porch and is located close to activities such as ziplining, horse riding, local shops and hiking trails.

Peaceful, good location and clean. Furniture a little outdated. It was very peaceful at the accommodation and relatively close to walks which usually start at Monk's Cowl car park. It is literally next door to Drakensberg Sun. My only disappointment was that it had no mountain view. It did, however, have a valley and lake view, but I would prefer a mountain view.
