Great value for money. This was by far the best stay we have had in a long time. We arrived late and Gail went above and beyond to help us find a restaurant and help us prepare the next day for our wedding. These people are incredible and deserve to be blessed.

Good but all photos used in the advert were not where we were placed. Good, but it is not custom nor a good impression to use a part of the farm as the cover photo which falsely advertises that the room being rented is in the cover photo (as this is logical) - why would you use a different part of the farm as the photo for the booking? Everyone will assume the first photo is going to be the space you're booking. So it was frustrating to be tucked at the back of the farm and not have a lawn in front of our stay.

Cozy space, but the listing is a bit misleading. The unit is cozy, but several things in the listing are misleading. The main bedroom is described as an en-suite, but in reality, the double bed is in the living area opposite the fireplace. There is only one bedroom, and it has the double and single bed. The bathroom has no shower curtain, making it a wet room. Towels are provided, but other essential toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel), hairdryer, swimming towels, iron and ironing board are mentioned in the listing but were not provided. The listing mentions a tea room, braai area, orchards, board games, and books, but we were not given a tour and many of these were not readily available. WiFi is only available from the main house and the overall network connection is poor, so keep that in mind. The fireplace kept the space warm and cozy, though it made the unit smoky at times. Wood was provided (some wet, dry wood given on request). The air fryer and two-plate stove were handy. Two-point plugs would be useful. Communication could be improved. Having to ask for things, plus needing the gate opened every time you leave or return, can feel inconvenient. On the positive side, parking is easy, the sunrise is beautiful, and the fireplace makes the space cozy. With clearer communication and small thoughtful touches, this could be a lovely getaway spot.
