Had a good break - thank you. Enjoyed our stay. The hot tub should be cleaner. Perhaps supply a mosquito coil or plug-in. A bath mat would be a good idea, perhaps more towels. Fantastic sunrise pics.

The view: Customer Service:. The place to sleep was fine. Smaller than expected. The photos give a big misconception. The Blue House is not a house – it’s a little room. And if you book the little room next door, you can hear everything that’s going on. We could hear every toilet flush, every conversation, every laugh from the guests next door. We slept very poorly. The beds were comfortable, though. The fireplace doesn’t work. You’re going to smoke yourself out of the room for two hours. That’s always nice. We also did an event here, but it was a total mess. Nothing was right. The gates were closed – guests had to wait in front of the gates. First we were taken to the wrong venue. After a whole back and forth, it was fixed. Then we were taken to the Glass House, which I paid for. The hall was dirty. The tables were dirty – we washed the tables ourselves and set the hall up. The emails and website chats said from 10am to 12pm, but since the hall wasn’t ready, we couldn’t start until after 10am. Our guests were then chased off the farm and I had to pay an additional R1000. The hostess wouldn’t open the gates for us to leave until she saw proof of payment. Extremely poor!

Op die e-posse en die webtuiste se chats is daar gesê van 10h tot 12h, maar aangesien die saal nie reg was nie, kon ons eers ná 10h begin. Ons gaste is toe van die plaas afgejaag en ek moes ’n addisionele R1000 betaal. Die gasvrou wou nie die hekke oopmaak vir ons om te vertrek nie, totdat sy die bewys van betaling gesien het.
