Very pleasant and enjoyable. Excellent venue and accommodation for a group of family or friends. Very beautiful setting and the rooms are spotless and neat. Margerit went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was very good and can be recommended. Lots of things for the kids to do. We will be back.

Family friendly farm stay in a beautiful setting. Blue Gum Country Estate is the perfect getaway for a family. I could get my fill of nature and fresh air, and our little kids had more than enough to do to stay entertained. The restaurant makes a delicious breakfast, and the amazing Stanford town is so close if you want to go explore or take a river cruise. They have a jungle gym, pool, big lawns, tennis court and more. We really enjoyed our stay and will most definitely go again.

Stunning accommodation. The absolute best views all around the house and great communication from management. I just wish that check-in could be a little earlier but definitely a place I would recommend.

Nice location, enjoyed our stay, attention to detail could be better. Room was okay, but various things were missing or not fully working. The toilet cistern did not fill for half the time (maybe the pump was off?), there was no braai grid, and the restaurant and café were closed due to the festival in Stanford, which was only shared with us after booking. We still had a nice stay, but more attention to such details would have improved it.
