Description

The Blue Whale Resort offers self-catering chalet accommodation in a 10-hectare private nature reserve on the seafront just 10 km from George central, 13 km from George Airport, and only 6 km from the N2. The resort is surrounded by indigenous forests and fynbos; whales can be seen during the winter months, and dolphins can be spotted year-round from the comfort of your balcony. Please note that there is a wooden staircase of about 200 steps leading down to a rocky beach, one of the best fishing spots in the area.

Accommodation is offered in self-catering chalets, spaced apart from each other to ensure privacy. All chalets have a beautiful sea view. Each chalet can accommodate 4 guests and contains 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchens are well-equipped for self-catering with a hob and under-counter oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, crockery, cutlery etc. Each chalet opens to a covered patio with a picnic bench and a built-in braai/bbq. Undercover parking is available.

Herolds Bay and Victoria Bay are approximately 12 and 18 km away, respectively and offer safe bathing. Various indigenous bird life can be observed while walking or cycling on the short hiking trails. Come and relax in one of ten fully equipped chalets if you want to hike, fish, or switch off and enjoy a nice rest.

The on-site Blue Whale Venue is ideal for conferences, events- and group bookings.
