Boekenhout Akkommodasie offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in 3 tastefully decorated rooms that can each accommodate 2 guests. This guest house is located within close proximity to the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research offices.
There is a self-catering unit that has its own kitchen that is equipped with basic appliances such as an induction stove, a combined oven and microwave, a Nespresso machine, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery making it ideal for guests wanting to stay for longer periods. The other 2 guest rooms are open-plan semi self-catering rooms that have an in-room kitchenette.
All 3 rooms are furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. For those that also want to get some work done, there is a work desk and the unit includes free Wi-Fi as well as a TV with Netflix.
Boekenhout Cottage is a 3 bedroom unit that accommodates 4 adults and 3 children. The main bedroom consists of 2 single beds, the second bedroom consists of 1 single bed, bedroom 3 has 1 single bed and one child-only bed and the living area has a children bed for 2. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower-over-bath and the second bathroom has a shower only. The living area and kitchen are open-plan and comfortably accommodates guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an induction plate and a microwave.
If guests want to enjoy a late afternoon drink or sit outside on the veranda, there is a communal outdoor area with braai facilities and seating. Guests have access to the tennis court as well as a secure parking bay.
