Wonderful weekend getaway, really enjoyed it. Just what we needed. We enjoyed our stay immensely! It's a beautiful, neat house with everything you need. Very nice layout with a large kitchen. Grateful for the dishwasher. The rooms all have air conditioners and comfortable beds, plenty of towels and blankets. There are more than enough bathrooms. Beautiful view on the top floor. Lovely patio with built-in braai downstairs and upstairs. Nice boma, especially now in winter. I just want to say thank you very much for your kindness and all the arrangements; the availability of the game vehicle, the wood and the arrangement for the QR codes to enter the main gate of Mabalingwe. We hope we can visit here again. The huge house is located in the heart of Cyferfontein, adjacent to the Mabalingwe main camp (just another camp). We enjoyed it very much - adults, teenagers and small children. The house is thoroughly furnished with everything you need. Each room has an air conditioner and nice and comfortable beds and there are enough bathrooms. All in all, we enjoyed the weekend. We had a wonderful family weekend at Bosvark Lodge. The fire pit area was perfect for the potjie and fireside chatter. There is plenty of space for all, and it's pretty well equipped with sufficient plates, knives, forks, etc. It could do with a few additional basics in the kitchen like a chopping board and serving/storage dishes. The property is in need of maintenance and could do with a thorough scrub/deep clean. We did run out of hot water on both mornings, which was not great as it was really cold. We did not see much game, which was a pity.

Stay was nice; however, I expected better for the price we paid. Overall, the place was nice and big; however, when we got there, the braai grids were dirty, the outside table and chairs were dirty and in need of TLC as they were very wobbly, and we were scared to sit on some of them as we thought they would break. The aircon remotes were flat, so no aircons could be used in the rooms. The kitchen countertops and dining room table were very dusty. The WiFi was very poor and we even battled to connect most times. Some of the bathrooms did not have curtains or blinds and were not frosted either, making it easy for people to look in.

Extremely disappointing Half the house did not have hot water, we reported it, but it was not fixed. TV was out of order. When some of the lights are turned on, it kicks out the entire house's power. Some of the lights were without bulbs, other bulbs were hanging loose from the roof. Some of the sinks and showers are clogged. Some of the air conditioners are out of order. In one of the bedrooms there were a bunch of broken beds stored. The sliding glass door cannot close properly either. This house is really run down and needs serious attention.
