Aangenaam. Ons het baie lekker gebly. Die mense is vriendelik en baie hulpvaardig. Eenheid was skoon en gerieflik toegerus. Baie mooi en lekker stil area.

Super stay at the seaside cottages. Fantastic view. Lovely people to deal with. Very basic type of accommodation, but it had everything that I needed and it was such a lovely, relaxing time.

Beautiful setting, all you need in a simple, clean beach cottage! What a wonderful, peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. Wake up and fall asleep with the sound of the sea in your ears and a view to die for! Clean, well kitted out and helpful, accommodating hosts. Will be back again and again.

Pragtige ligging. Niks fancy nie, maar vir die prys was alles skoon en netjies. Lieflike ligging.

Best choice for Port Alfred. Very nice cottage, spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and a big terrace. The beach is only a few metres below. Very friendly and helpful owner. Best location connected to a lot of beaches around.

We will be back. We enjoyed our stay at Brenton Beach Crest. The bed and pillows were comfortable, we could hear the sea and the white noise only promoted a better night's sleep. We braaied most nights and sat in total darkness under the veranda on the porch. One evening we had a display of fireflies all around us. No noise from neighbours or city sounds, just the waves. We took our air fryer and coffee percolator with us, did not even use the gas stove or microwave. If it got windy on the stoep, we pushed the two twin beds together in the lounge room and spent the evenings reading. We were on holiday, so we took a break from TV, YouTube, Netflix and social media. Brenton Beach Crest provided that kind of rest; our bungalow/cottage was surrounded by plant growth and trees with a view of the ocean. Bring binoculars to spot boats and ships on the horizon. Walks on the beach, or we sat at Guido's and the mouth of the Kowie River, enjoying a hake and calamari while watching the sea. And for pudding, we stopped at Handmade Coffee and Bakery for a baked cheesecake and cappuccino. Best cheesecake ever tasted. We went to East Beach for our swim; the water current is safer there, and Bliz Beach Cafe is a kiosk selling barista-quality coffee, cool drinks, ice cream and something to eat. Port Alfred's infrastructure really impressed me, and the town is clean and neat.
