Description

Buffelsvlei is a privately owned game farm spanning 1400 hectares of pristine Limpopo Bushveld, offering guests the perfect setting to relax, reconnect with nature, and escape the bustle of city life.

The lodge is booked exclusively for one group and can accommodate up to 8 adults and 6 children under 10 years old (on sleeper couches). It comprises 4 air-conditioned, en-suite chalets, each tastefully decorated in an African style and fitted with a shower.

The communal facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a bar with a lounge and TV featuring full DStv. The thatched, open-plan design creates a natural bush ambience. Guests can unwind beside the rock-built boma with braai facilities or cool off in the swimming pool overlooking the garden. Additional features include 2 guest toilets and a walk-in safe for valuables.

Buffelsvlei offers self-drive game drives with the opportunity to spot wildlife such as sable, buffalo, and giraffe. There are 4 watering holes with viewing hides, ideal for photography and birdwatching. Limited cell reception ensures a peaceful, authentic bush experience, 120 km from the nearest town.
