Bullrush Cottage is set in an indigenous garden is a secure gated eco-estate of Hout Bay. This bright, clean and tastefully decorated garden cottage accommodates 2 people very comfortably.
This 1 bedroom unit has a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The comfortably appointed open-plan lounge and dining room has a TV with premium DSTV. The cottage is equipped with good Wi-Fi and UPS for continuous connection. The fully equipped kitchen features a hob, oven, double door fridge-freezer, microwave as well a filter coffee machine and coffee plunger. The cottage opens onto a private patio with patio furniture and Weber kettle BBQ. Guests are welcome to use the communal pool. Swimming towels are provided on request.
During loadshedding the cottage is equipped with a gas cooker, rechargeable lights, and a UPS for continuous Wi-Fi.
The cottage is serviced weekly and all percale bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Laundry service or extra cleaning service is offered at a nominal charge. There is secure on-site parking right next to your front door.
Within the 34 hectare security estate, one can take a mountain walk or a leisurely stroll around the landscaped fynbos gardens and ponds, which attract a variety of bird life including the orange-breasted sunbird and the Cape sugarbird. There are 17 large resident leopard tortoises who roam the estate as well as 26 new hatchlings in their own protected enclosure.
