Hi Daniel, we are delighted you enjoyed our beautiful home overall.
As to the oven and stove, thank you for the feedback. I think the dirt you are referring to may be what is "caked in" on the inside of the glass. My cleaning ladies are however doing an extra deep clean and any removable dirt is not the standard we wish to uphold. As to the stove, guests up until now have always loved it as it is large and the gas is super convenient, but if you are referring to cleanliness, I apologise for any oversight.
Regarding the neighbourhood, Jamestown is indeed a unique experience, being culturally and economically diverse. However, this is in fact one of the attributes we love about this unique South African neighbourhood. Apart from the location being a short 5-10 mins drive away from some stunning wine farms, we love the integration between cultures and races - including a range of basic and historical houses to new and modern homes, small farms, a couple of estates, old locals, artists and creatives, and lots of families (old locals and new "incomers"). We're also proud to have famous chef Bertus Basson live two streets down! We invite and encourage anyone looking for a luxurious but also culturally rich experience to come and stay
