Cute, well styled, well kitted, safe, friendly. My four children and I had the most wonderful stay at this surprising, charming cottage in McGregor. What a wonderful place and attention to detail in every direction.

Above and beyond. Cardigan Cottage was lovely. Beautifully decorated with quality crockery and cutlery and bedding. Nice touches such as a complimentary bottle of wine and great bathroom products set it apart. The hot tub, which was used as a pool to cool us down in very warm temperatures, was a bonus.

Would recommend to friends. Enjoyed the ambience of the dwelling and wonderful natural garden. All necessary equipment for a family stay of 6. A bit noisy at night with foot traffic and vehicles. Was aware of this from previous reviews. Might be useful for guests to have a one-pager available with places of interest in the town with a bit of history to make it interesting. Unless we missed it? Wish we could have the same water pressure in Cape Town!

Compact & cosy but with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Wonderful stay at Cardigan Cottage. Beautifully furnished and decorated, spacious enough for 6 people plus a great stoep for entertaining a larger group. Very well fitted out with all the essentials you need plus added luxuries. Lovely garden, great security & walking distance to all the town has to offer.

Lovely restful break with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay at Cardigan Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with good quality linen, etc. We ran out of prepaid electricity one evening, but the owner was quick to purchase more for us. It would have been really helpful if the housekeeper could start the fire in the hot tub before the guests arrive, especially going into the winter months, as it took hours to warm up and was not warm enough to use on the first night. Otherwise, can't fault anything!

Wonderful stay and relaxation. Lovely little house! My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Cardigan Cottage! It is beautiful, comfortable furniture and very well equipped. The veranda is lovely to hang out on and braai. The cottage is located at the beginning of the village, which is the less pleasant part. The veranda does look out onto the backyard, so you still have lovely privacy and there is an alarm that you have to set at night.
