Carmel Villa B&B or Self-catering is situated in the town of Calvinia in the Northern Cape. A perfect getaway for those seeking a holiday away from the city life or a overnight stopover on the way to the Kgalagadi.

The accommodation comprises 3 Bed and Breakfast rooms and 2 self-catering chalets. The Bed and Breakfast rooms are in the Victorian Main House of which 2 has queen size beds and 1 a single room with separate bathroom. The Main House rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and electric blankets.

The 2 self-catering chalets are separate from the Victorian Main House, Chalet 1 comprises a queen size bed and Chalet 2 comprises 2 rooms of which one has 2 single beds and the other a double and single bed. Each chalet has a kitchenette and braai facilities.

Guests also have access to DStv, unlimited fibre Wi-Fi, a splash pool and secure parking.

Carmel Villa is within walking distance of 2 nearby restaurants, the information office and the city centre. Nearby activities include bird watching, cycling, guided walks and mountain biking. Local attractions include The Calvinia Museum, The Akkerendam Nature Reserve, The Boekhuis and The Hantam Meat Festival which takes place every year in late August.
