Description
Casa Balena is a beautiful Tuscan-designed seafront holiday house with uninterrupted sea views, situated between Gansbaai and De Kelders in the Overberg region.
This property can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, each with an ocean view. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second and third bedrooms both have double beds and access to the separate bathroom fitted with a bath. The fourth bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, which can be converted to a king-size bed on request, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All beds are fitted with crisp cotton linen, and towels are also supplied.
On the upper level, the kitchen is fully equipped with an air-fryer, gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a coffee machine. A washing machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher are available in the separate scullery. The spacious living area includes an 8-seater dining table, comfortable seating and a flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix access. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. The living area is also fitted with an indoor braai and a gas fireplace.
Downstairs, there is a games room with a dartboard, table tennis and pool table combo as well as another TV with Netflix. On the spacious deck, there are braai facilities, a continuously heated hot tub, warm at arrival, as well as an outdoor dining table and patio furniture. The patio offers guests a stunning sea view and whale watching opportunities from July to November each year. The house is also fitted with a 5 kW inverter and battery to provide back-up electricity in the event of load shedding.
Guests are afforded secure parking in a double lock-up garage. The house is within walking distance from Stanford’s Cove, Gansbaai tidal pool and Gansbaai Harbour. Nature lovers
