We had a great stay and the host made it worth it. We were a group of 13 with kids and we had a great stay. The place is amazing, very clean and very spacious. The host is great. The directions to the accommodation were very clear, check-in was very easy and the host was very helpful. The pool was clean, the lounge with the smart TV is a nice touch and I really liked the personal touches in every room. I appreciate the plastic cups, separating the bunk beds and treats that were provided to accommodate the kids we were travelling with. I also had no problems with receiving back my breakage deposit. I would definitely recommend this place. I look forward to booking again in the future.

Satisfactory. Cupboards are really uncomfortable and an eyesore. Many of them are rotting. No toilet paper. Doors don't close properly. The garden boy is always drunk and brings friends over and fights loudly, disrupting us.

The mentioned cupboards have been replaced after the guest stayed at the property. The issue with the garden boy was never reported or mentioned until now. If the client was so unhappy with the garden boy, why was he tipped from both families on checkout? We will look into this matter and take the necessary actions required. We apologise for the inconvenience, and if we were informed about the incident, it would have been dealt with immediately.

Property requires maintenance and after-sales service is very disappointing! The hosts were very hospitable prior to our stay; however, the after-sales service has been terrible. On querying why I had not received our deposit back a week after our trip ended, I was told it would be paid soon. A few days later, I was advised that the pool umbrella appeared broken and there was going to be R500 withheld from my deposit until it was confirmed whether the damage was routine maintenance or in fact damaged. All calls and messages have not been responded to since, and it's almost 6 weeks since our holiday ended. The manner in which this situation has been handled is very disappointing - the lack of respect from the hosts, that they just ignore my texts and calls. There are no updates from their side. To be honest, the property is lovely, but there are so many maintenance issues which we overlooked - the state of some of the bathrooms and some of the cupboards is very bad. There are improvements required throughout the property. It seems to be rather unfair that they choose to suggest that maintenance issues must be covered by deposits. The property was also thoroughly inspected prior to us leaving. We have stayed at many holiday accommodations throughout the country and have always respected the property as if it's our own - we have never come across hosts who behave in such a rude manner. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone as you may never know what costs you may be expected to cover without you even knowing it!

The mentioned maintenance has been attended to and the bathroom cupboard was replaced. Photos will be updated on the websites shortly. Unfortunately, procedures weren't followed by the guest and no check-in sheets or check-out sheets were completed by the guest. We do apologise if the client was unsatisfied with communication after check-out and will ensure that the matter is brought up and attended to, to prevent such incidents. The deposit was refunded after deductions a week after check-out.
