Onstannend, vriendelik, gerieflik en skoon. Ons het 'n heerlike tyd gehad by Chartwell House. Die kamer was netjies en gemaklik, die atmosfeer ontspanne en die diens baie vriendelik. Dit was regtig 'n plesier om hier te bly en ons het die rustige omgewing baie geniet. Ek sal dit beslis aanbeveel vir ander.

Relaxing, refreshing, welcoming and delicious! Chartwell House truly is a home away from home. The hosts are the perfect hosts, and when we left, they had become friends. They were happy to answer all our questions about "things to do" in Velddrif, our room was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The expertly prepared breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing your home and your town with us. We will definitely be back!

Lovely - quiet and relaxed. The house is beautiful and the hosts are friendly and lovely. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing. The only downside is no TV in the rooms - and they cleaned the room on the morning when we went out - did not mention anything to us - so my privacy felt a bit violated.

Good afternoon Sherani, Thank you for your kind words. Just to reconfirm, we have stated on the booking platform that there are no TVs in the rooms. In addition, it clearly states on the framed document on the bedside table that also gives the password for our high-speed internet that the room will be refreshed on a daily basis as we believe that our guests would prefer dry towels and clean tea trays. If you did not want this service, perhaps it would have been more appropriate just to have mentioned to us that you did not want anyone in your room. However, thank you for your comments. We will try to not invade anyone's privacy in the future by asking their permission before we go into their rooms. With best wishes Melanie

We stayed at Chartwell House while visiting family in Dwarskersbos. We chose very well. We absolutely enjoyed the hospitality. The facilities and location were first class. When next in the area, we hope they will be available again. Really value for money.

Everything was perfect! The rooms are elegant, modern and clean. The Owners, Jeff and Melanie Sillince were welcoming, very helpful and a delight to talk to. My favourite part was definitely the breakfast. What an amazing experience!
